Breakaway Aisle Blockers

Due to new ADA regulations, store checkout aisles can no longer be blocked by semi-permanent gates or other obstacles that could prevent foot traffic from exiting through the building in a safe and orderly fashion in the event of an emergency.

Breakaway Aisle Blockers use specially designed flexible hooks, a breakaway chain and special SuperGrip® connector that allows for checkout aisles to be blocked off during regular store operation, but the connection can be easily severed in the event of an emergency without blocking exits or obstructing traffic.
